Methadone4Pain.ca is a series of three education modules for physicians, nurses and pharmacists seeking to improve their knowledge in prescribing and managing patients prescribed methadone for pain in palliative care. The course is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and accredited by the Royal College.
The course was developed by Canadian Virtual Hospice and leading Canadian palliative pain management specialists, in collaboration with The Canadian Society of Palliative Care Physicians, The College of Family Physicians of Canada, Pallium Canada and deSouza Institute. Funding was provided by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.
