Hi Lulu975 and Carlyn
As you said it seems like you both have enough! An article called What is anxiety? starts off, “Thinking about progressive changes in your health and functional ability, your own death, or that of someone close can make you anxious. Like most people, you probably try to avoid such thoughts as you go about your daily life. However, this is difficult if not impossible to do when you are faced with a life-threatening illness. Such a diagnosis thrusts you into uncharted territory where much seems unfamiliar and you feel out of control. No wonder you may experience anxiety or feel scared.”
That last sentence got me – ‘no wonder.’ I thought the article might help – and to add to what Carlyn suggested some ideas about talking to your healthcare provider if you need.
It’s hard too I would think being in a new community and away from friends you have known for some time.
Thinking of you Lulu975 – and you too Carlyn.
