Our community members are our greatest ambassadors! Many of you have asked me, “How can we let more people know about Virtual Hospice?” 

We’ve got a few ideas. For example, you could:

• Share our brochures and bookmarks.
• Send an email to info@virtualhospice.com and we’ll send you copies.
• Like our Facebook page and share our posts with your friends.
• Follow us on Twitter.
• Share our videos on Vimeo or YouTube.
• Let me know about any newsletters or organizations who would like me to submit a story about Virtual Hospice.
• Submit an article yourself about the Discussion Forums to your local paper, relevant newsletter, etc. 
• Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper when you see a relevant news story or post a comment online and tell people about Virtual Hospice.
• Write a blog post about the Virtual Hospice community 

Many of you are great writers and having articles written about us in your words are fantastic. But don’t hesitate to let me know if I can help with writing or editing articles, blog posts, letters, etc.  

Have you already started spreading the word about Virtual Hospice? Tell us what you did or other suggestions you may have. 

I told everyone at my berevement support group about this site  .. It's a great way to connect when group is not in session, or during them really lonely nights when you just can't sleep, but you can type your heart out in a safe place with others who understand, listen and give words of encouragement when no one else is around.

I have long believed that important conversations take place in the 'waiting room' between family members and between patients. Whether that waiting room is in a clinic, a hospital unit or room, an in-person or online support group like this community. 

These conversations take place between people who understand what it's like to wait on test results, worry about symptoms, fear the hundreds of unknowns, and need a place to share their frustrations and joys. 

What do you think is the best way to let people know who we are and how to take part in the conversations?
