Salish Sea Hospice Project

We have started a new hospice on the west coast of Canada called the Salish Sea Hospice Project. We are unique in our support for a good death and by our interest in the states of altered consciousness that accompany dying.

At the Salish Sea Hospice Project we do not see death as a medical event but rather as the natural completion of life – without the need for suffering, physical pain or excessive medication.

We are looking for pioneers in the field of conscious dying. Join us. www.salishseahospice.org

I've been thinking about your new project Digger. How have the last few weeks been? It looks like you will be busy in October with the Death Cafe, workshops, etc. 

I would like to hear how things are going when you get the chance.

Congratulations on the new project. The best of luck with your goals and mission. I have been an advocate of hospice and a good death though in my mind death is a state a movement from one place to another. I like to think of it as good dying which is active and can be filled with positive moments and memories. Of course I am splitting hairs.
