Dear idontknow,

Having been away from my computer for a few days, it was also a shock for me to hear the news of your brother's death. Thank you for sharing with us. I offer you and your mother my deepest sympathy.

I can only try to imagine what it was like for you to see the police at your door, and to know in the depths of your being why they were there. As painful as the whole journey with him has been, as you say, he is now at peace. And you know that he no longer suffers.

Many feelings will likely arise in you. Please know that we are always here to listen. I send you all energy of love and continued peace.

Dear Idontknow,

It is sad to hear about your brother and especially the way you found out.
My heart and thoughts go out to you and your mom.
As you said: your
younger brother with all his demons is finally at rest.

How have things been for you now?
How did mom take it?

Hoping memories can bring you joy and peace,

ShiningStar

Hi idontknow and everyone else sharing on this thread.

Today a new member joined our community - Sunshine12. Her post reminded of this conversation. While the circumstances are not the same, I thought that I would reach out to you to ask you all to welcome Sunshine12 and let her know we're here.

Here is the link to Sunshine's message:
Brother has stage 4 cancer and has stopped talking to me, sad.

Thank you
Colleen

Hello everyone,
To those of you who do not know me, I joined the Discussion Forum in November last year.

Beck66 posted to Having a hard time coping this evening.  I know it's been some time since this thread was active, but I wanted to ask if you would consider responding to Beck66's post.

Thanks very much for considering this request.
Katherine
