I'm losing it

My bf passed away July 31. I'm still devastated, on anti depressants, anti anxiety and I'm still bawling my eyes out every day. I think of suicide. The executrix turned about robe a social path, basically took over his business and treats us horribly. It's pure he'll, some minutes are better than others, wow, AngieAngie

Dear Angie,

July is not that long ago. There is no set time that we should be done with grief. It is a journey. Others sharing on this forum know this well and will be there to see you through.

What are your plans for the holidays? If you want to share with others about facing the holidays, come share with us here:

Grief: How am I going to get through the holidays?

Dear Angie,

as Colleen has said, you are still feeling like your loss happened yesterday,
welcome to the forum.  There are many of us here, some who have lost parents, partners, all kinds of loss, all kinds of journeys back to some kind of bearable life.

i am a caregiver, retired now but loved my work in long term care - I have lost members of my family, and I can tell you that grief and loss is something we are very individual in.

the forum is a safe place to say what's on your mind, and take one step at a time with the support of others who have - against all odds, come out the other side of loss.

i hope you will write and let us know the rough moments so we, I, others, can respond.  Being alone, afraid to weigh down others with your pain is very hard.
being told  to "get on with life, get over it" are instructions we cannot do on command.

but here you have a place to be without judgement, and with compassion we will respond;)

you are being thought of today.
as you share with us, you will learn about the struggles we deal with, and as a support group we are here for each other.

i have found that to be true for me as well, as this year has been a tough one for me...

sending you thoughts and good wishes,
write when you can, we are real people with hearts just like yours;)

Hello Angie,

how was your day today?  How are you feeling?  I hope things are going well...post a note when you have time.  It's been a cold weather weekend....I am looking forward to spring already.

have you been able to talk with anyone in your community about your feelings of grief?  There is no time limit on grief...it's okay to express your pain here.

sending you best wishes,
NatR
