We value our Core Members
21 Apr 2014, 11:48 PM

A vibrant online community needs encouragement, stimulation and participation. And we want Virtual Hospice’s online community is as supportive, welcoming and active as it can possibly be. Our Core Members help us do just that!

We are very fortunate to be able to count on many of you as consistent Core Members already, and we’d like to formally recognize this valuable role.

We say thank you to:
Core Members

Our Core Members:
  • Welcome new members
  • Help members feel comfortable and safe
  • Keep an eye out for new messages or threads
  • Respond to moderator requests to reply to members that could benefit from your special touch

Core Members are not expected to be a replacement for the moderator team. See Why and How We Moderate to understand the role of the moderator.

It’s just that nothing makes us sadder than when a post goes unanswered. Our Core Members help make sure that doesn’t happen. They welcome people. They let people know that they’re not alone.

Would you like to become a Core Member?

If you are interested or would like to hear more about this opportunity, please contact us.
