Family Caregivers of British Columbia is a registered non-profit dedicated 100% to supporting family caregivers.
Our Mission: To improve the quality of life for family caregivers through support, information, and education. We provide leadership to strengthen the voice of family caregivers and the significance of their role.
Our Priorities: 1) Provide direct support to family caregivers through 1:1 emotional support, help navigating the health care system, and free resources such as our quarterly newsletter, Caregiver Connection. 2) Educate family caregivers and health care providers through free webinars, workshops and support group facilitator training. 3) Engage with family caregivers and the health sector to gain recognition for family caregivers and their roles as partners in care, as well as ensure family caregivers are included in health care system improvement efforts.
