This program is primarily designed for professionals to provide essential clinical competencies, innovative approaches to improve care of the dying, practices to strengthen individual capacity for compassionate service, and enhance spiritual development.
Course themes/highlights: compassionate service, suffering and transformation, deepening relationship, mystery & awe, cultivating presence, and transition & completion. The program runs from January through to September. Applications to enroll in the following year program are required in October. Also offers an intensive 6-day residential training program 'Cultivating Presence: Compassionate End-of-Life Care Residential Training Retreat' in the summer months as an alternative to year long program.
