An innovative gathering of some of the most influential, stimulating and inspirational minds and change-makers; from visionaries and authors, to end of life care providers on the ground, to traditional healers from North America and beyond. Participants will be immersed in the social, cultural, spiritual, eco-conscious, artistic, clinical and ethical practices and issues surrounding how we live, die, and care for our dying and dead. Participants will attend educational lectures and seminars, panel discussions, and question periods with some of the most sought after educators and practitioners, including Dr. BJ Miller (M.D.), Caitlin Doughty (Funeral Director), Jeremie Saunders, Stephen Jenkinson (MSW), Jerrigrace Lyons (Home Funeral Guide), Dr. Sameet Kumar (Psychologist), Russell Hilliard (Music Therapist), Joyce Simard (Music Therapy), Kenn Pitawanakwat (Cultural Grief Counsellor), Dr. Simon Colgan (Palliative Care with Homeless Populations) and Dr. Suzanne Stewart (Indigenous Perspectives).
