The first Home Funeral Practicum in Manitoba is set to be offered October 4,5,6, 2019. The weekend begins with a movie and discussion which is also open to the public. The free movie evening will begin at 7pm at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent. The workshop portion will be 9-5 on both Saturday and Sunday. Don Morris will lead the weekend of learning about the practice of home funerals and vigils.
This workshop is for those who are seeking to learn more about caring for our family and community members at the time of death including options for after death care.
