Dr. Michael Gordon, born in New York, attended medical school at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. After graduation in 1966 he pursued post-graduate training in many countries, settling in Toronto Canada in 1973. Initially a general internist, he changed to Geriatric Medicine. He works at Torontoís Baycrest Geriatric Centre and is full professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto; his special focus is dementia, ethics and palliative and end-of-life care.
