Palliative Care - Multidiscipline - 017 is an online certificate program made up of six courses and a practicum. Admission requirements: must be regulated/certified health care professional (e.g. RN, RPN, OT/PT, Social Worker, Dietician, Physician, etc.)
Palliative care aims to relieve suffering and improve quality of life for those who are living with and/or dying from a progressive life-limiting illness. Learn to assist patients and their families address physical, psychosocial, social, spiritual and practical issues. The curriculum is based on standards of the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association and the Canadian Nurse Association.
